For six weeks, the artist Ivana Radovanovic explored first Brest and then Dresden. For the Serbian living in Austria, both were completely unknown cities. She entered into exchange with a wide variety of local people and felt the atmosphere of the city. She discovered the history, architecture and topography of both cities. What do the two cities look like? How do they feel? Ivana Radovanovic is a studied composer and for this reason she asked herself above all the question: How do the two cities sound? She listened carefully, paid attention to all the sounds and collected them by recording them.
With all these recorded sounds, she composed a piece of music that reflects her personal impression of the cities and creates a novel connection between the two cities:
